Legacy of Joy
In Loving Memory
George Edwin Weinand, Naturopath
George Edwin Weinand
May 18, 1938 – November 5, 2019
“It’s the best day of my life!”, was George’s consistent answer when asked. And he meant it. Each day is a gift. Season it with a good laugh (or many), and do the best you can. Worshiper of God, encourager, healer, husband, dad, Grandpa the Great and friend.
George Weinand, Naturopath, founded Neurowaves in 1997. He and his wife Gayle had returned to California from serving 15 years as missionaries in Costa Rica. He graduated from Trinity College of Natural Health with a Doctor of Naturopathy degree. He certified with NAET, an effective, gentle, non-invasive technique that removes sensitivities from food and environmental stressors. This gentle technique has always been the heart of Neurowaves. George became a board certified Neurotherapist, providing EEG Neurofeedback for many years. His devotion to God and his family, his fun sense of humor and kind, caring way are treasured by many, especially his family. George began mentoring his grandson, Jeff Erickson in 2016. Jeff studied and then graduated from Trinity School of Natural Health with his CNHP and CHHP degrees. George worked with Jeff and then gradually entrusted Neurowaves to him during 2019. George’s legacy of effective, safe, gentle, non-invasive techniques designed to support the body’s own God given abilities to heal, is proudly being carried on by Jeff Erickson. George entered into heaven smiling, after a short, painless transition from cancer.
